Co-Philanthropy Chairman
Duties and Responsibilities:
Co-Philanthropy Chairman
Section 21: Co-Philanthropy Chairman
A good indicator of a strong chapter is its ability to fundraise for organizations that it sees fit. The co-philanthropy chairman will be responsible for the philanthropic events where we, as men of Tennessee Kappa, will demonstrate our commitment to both our local and national community through fundraising. This role is very important as it reflects on our public image as a chapter and must be taken seriously and planned meticulously.
The Co-Philanthropy Chairman will:
Organize the chapter’s primary annual charity fundraising event.
If so necessary, create a committee to help with his task.
Not commit the chapter to any contract, whether written or verbal or otherwise, nor has any spending authority whatsoever.
The members of this committee will be appointed by the Co-Philanthropy Chairman, though two at large members may be voted onto the committee by the active chapter.
Boxing tournaments are prohibited as a philanthropic event.
