Section 18: Health & Safety Chairman


Each member of Tennessee Kappa is his brother’s keeper. The Health & Safety Chairman accepts the responsibility that Tennessee Kappa can have a thriving social life without jeopardizing a single member. This is a position of incredible importance.


The Health & Safety Chairman will:


  1. Arrange and manage security for social events at the house.


  1. Arrange with the Social Chairman and Member Educator persons to work the door at social events.


  1. Coordinate with the Social Chairman the collection and delivery of beverages for social events at the house.


  1. Ensure the safety of all those at the house by limiting acts of destruction, etc.


  1. Ensure that anyone violating Risk Standards will receive a True Gentleman Fine.


  1. Ensure that no trace of alcohol or any illegal activity can be found in or around the fraternity house.


  1. Not commit the chapter to any contract, whether written or verbal or otherwise, nor has any spending authority whatsoever.


  1. Perform all duties set forth in the National Laws, Title VII, Article 53, Section I.
