Eminent Herald

Section 11: Eminent Herald


The Eminent Herald is the guardian of the Ritual and Traditions of the Fraternity and Tennessee Kappa.


The Eminent Herald will:


  1. Be personally responsible for the care and safe storage of all equipment used in all Ritual ceremonies.


  1. Arrange the physical space (i.e. chairs, tables, etc.) for all chapter meetings, initiations, and any other fraternity events which require this service; he will also clean up after meetings, etc.


  1. Act as co-chairman of the initiation team.


  1. Be responsible for the transporting of new members and active members from one location to another during ceremonies.


  1. Not commit the chapter to any contract, whether written or verbal or otherwise, nor has any spending authority whatsoever.


  1. Perform all duties set forth in the National Laws, Title VII, Article 53, Section H.
